Life without a Gallbladder

How to have a healthy liver and good digestion without a gallbladder

“I had my gallbladder removed and now I can’t digest fats of any kind, I can’t digest animal protein, I have severe stomach cramps and feel nauseous all the time. I’m scared and have no idea what to eat or how to function on a daily basis anymore. The doctors have been little help, they told me I’d be better after surgery that you can live just fine without a gallbladder. ” ~ Alexa Age 32

My friend called me after her surgery looking for ways to become healthier, she was in pain and feeling desperate. She had a child to raise, college classes to finish and life to get on with after this surgery. So, I did some research for her, passed on what I found and let her do her own research into her health and finding a way to end her daily suffering. She decided to do a colon cleanse from global healing, started the thyroid health kit along with changing her coffee to organic, drinking purified water and finding healthy options to replace her normal diet.

Two weeks later she called me to tell me she was ordering her 2nd thyroid health kit, that she no longer had severe stomach pain, her energy levels were up and she now had a more positive relationship with food. She eventually added in some other digestive aids like Raw Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with water, daily intake of probiotics, oxy-powder pills a couple days a week to keep the digestive tract moving and digestive enzymes (Gut Health Kit) to help her digest fats (which she still struggles with and has to keep her intake limited).

I was casually talking with a friend about doctors and our conversation went like this:

Susan: My doctor showed me a scan of my gallbladder and it is full of stones, I get the pain under my right rib cage often, it comes and goes.

Me: What kind of treatment did he suggest?

Susan: Nothing, he said there is not much they can do and to let him know if the pain got worse.

Me: Do you want to see the album on my phone of pictures of all my friends and family who got rid of gallstones through multiple Global Healing Colon & Liver/Gallbladder cleanses?

She ordered a Colon Cleanse and the Thyroid Health Kit immediately, she said she felt great after the colon cleanse and starting the daily supplements. She is going to try the liver/gallbladder cleanse next.

“Kira I am so sick, I can’t eat without getting dizzy, I have no energy, the doctors gave me medicine for constipation, but it doesn’t work. I was diagnosed with gastritis, but I feel like something else is wrong, I have pain that comes and goes under the top of my rib cage on the right side (liver/gallbladder), I have jock itch and fungus on my toes. The doctors finally diagnosed me with a candida problem but this has been an issue on and off since I was young. This is adversely affecting my life, I can’t keep calling off of work and I just feel terrible all the time, something needs to change and I’m ready to try something different because the doctors aren’t helping me.”         ~Sergio Age 35

My friend Sergio has come such a long way in his journey of a healthier lifestyle and cleansing. I forwarded him some webinars to watch and research to read and he decided to start with a Colon Cleanse and the Thyroid Health Kit and a serious change in diet. He decided to do some research and try a gluten-free, candida elimination diet protocol and once his dizziness subsided he started cleansing his Liver/Gallbladder. During the cleanse he was experiencing severe dizziness whenever he drank the liver cleanse drink, but instead of giving up he knew that this was a sign as to how sick his liver really was, so he watered down the drink and drank it slowly over the course of an hour instead of all at once. This worked for him so that he was able to finish the Liver/Gallbladder cleanse. He tackled his candida issues with his diet along with The Harmful Organism Cleanse, Oregatrex and taking Mycozil for several months. He is still healing and cleansing when he can, he just finished his 5th liver/gallbladder cleanse (within 6 months), he has lost over 30lbs, no longer has brain fog, he started a new career and has a better understanding of how his body works, he can feel when something is not right and try’s to fix it with a natural approach, trying to fix the root cause of the issue (his Liver) instead of just masking his symptoms with medications. He still struggles with candida, but the problem has been there for over 20years, so he knows it will take time.

Then I heard this story and my research into the digestive system started all over again.

“After suffering from ulcers since the age of seven, I also have gastritis, esophagitis, celiac disease and I am lactose intolerant. In late 2016 I had my gallbladder laparoscopically removed, within two weeks I was having severe pain after eating food, I was constantly nauseous and vomiting 4 to 5 times a day. eventually, I was diagnosed with gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying) I believe this was caused from damage to the Intercostal –Vagus nerve during surgery. Which my surgeon refused to admit was even a possibility during my surgery. So, I did my own research and found that hundreds of other people had this same issue after the same surgery. Since my surgery I have been hospitalized several times for stomach paralysis, I still vomit 4 to 5x a day after eating and the medications they give me to get my digestive system to work simply don’t help and I think they even make me sick. I try to put as little chemicals in my body as possible, I want to learn a healthier way to treat my illness.”                  ~Hayley Age 22

After hearing these stories, I did more research and I have found hundreds of similar stories and support groups online.  Thousands of people have had their Vagus nerve nicked during the removal of their gallbladder and have gone years after surgery suffering with no diagnosis, mainly because their surgeon refused to admit that this could happen during laparoscopic surgery. Yet, statistically, they say that complications only happen in 2% of people that receive this surgery.

If you suffer from severe digestive issues like, inability to digest fats, bloating, constant nausea vomiting after a meal, constipation or stomach paralysis after having your gallbladder removed then my hope is to provide you with natural alternatives to ease your symptoms, find what works best for your body and possibly retrain your digestive system to work properly or at least adapt to functioning without a gallbladder.

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) surgery is one of the most commonly performed surgical procedures in the U.S. which is so crazy to me because I know so many of these procedures could have been avoided if people were taught to cleanse their organs every year. We put octane gas in our sports cars and we make sure to change the oil on time so that our car, the machine that gets us from place to place is in good working order, yet people don’t think about doing this to their body’s. Your body is the only home you get to live in, we only get one and if we don’t care for it properly many things will start to go wrong. Medication and surgery don’t have to be your only option (although sometimes needed) we have choices, it’s your body and your health and often just making mild changes to your lifestyle and learning how to cleanse properly can make a world of difference. It all goes back to Chinese medicine, cleanse the body, get it in working order and the body has no choice but to activate its natural healing mechanism. Science is finally catching up to this ancient wisdom with the study of epigenetics. Dr. Bruce Lipton was one of the first to shed light on this study, his findings showed that the gene is not controlled from inside the gene but from the outside environment of the gene.

The exciting science of epigenetics is very much like a switch on the outside of the genetic circuits and genome that influences the behaviors of a gene. The very prefix epi, which means to lie outside of the root structure, helps explains that, while not an integral part of an organism’s genetic code, epigenetics can influence the gene’s activities from the outside. Flipping the switch enhances (turns a gene on) or inhibits (turns a gene off) DNA activity”

Assad Meymandi, MD, Ph.D., DLFAPA, PMCID: PMC2861525, PMID: 20436775

Through many new studies, there is now scientific proof that you can change your gene expression through diet and lifestyle change. We are no longer stuck in the realm of thinking that what my mother had and what her mother had will be passed down to me and I just have to deal with it. We are in control of our own destiny. How to improve your health must be up to you until conventional doctors catch up to the new science. I believe it is slowly happening, but it will take some time to dissolve beliefs that were thought to be the ultimate truth, these beliefs were embedded into their brains for 8 or more years of school and throughout their entire career. Below is a link to a small study with the five year follow up report that was done on a group of men that had prostate cancer they declined immediate surgery, hormonal therapy, or radiation and participated in an intensive nutrition and lifestyle intervention while undergoing careful surveillance for tumor progression. In the three month study these men were able to up-regulate 48 genes (turn on) and down-regulated 453 genes (turn off).

It’s imperative you understand how your internal organs function so that you may realize that you developed a gallbladder problem because you had an unhealthy liver and serious issues with your digestive system. Your gallbladder, your liver, and your small intestines are intricately connected and depend on one another to perform at an optimal level. When your liver is not healthy, it will make poor quality bile. The bile will be prone to forming sludge and stones (gallstones). Just removing the gallbladder doesn’t solve that problem, and in fact, sludge and stones can form within the liver, compromising its function.

Your body was designed to compensate for the weakness. If your gallbladder was removed it’s because many other functions were not working properly, and it had gone on for so long that the body could no longer compensate for its weakness.

Bile production is one of the most important jobs of the liver. In a normal functioning body, the liver stores a backup supply of bile in a tiny little sack called the gallbladder, which hangs underneath it. Bile is mostly made up of recycled red blood cells and enzymes, which very effectively break down dietary fat into essential fatty acids that can be used by our bodies (turns fat into fuel and new cell walls). These essential fatty acids are absorbed into the bloodstream through the small intestine. Bile also stimulates peristalsis in the large intestine. Peristalsis is the rhythmic movement of the large intestine (also called the colon), which promotes proper evacuation of the bowels.

Due to reduced enzymatic activity, Betaine HCl levels decrease (you can supplement with chlorella and spirulina to increase these levels). Depending on the individual, this can lead to sluggish digestion and poor absorption of essential nutrients. The Liver produces an enzyme called glutathione transferase, glutathione transferase is the number one detoxification enzyme in the human body and if the liver is not functioning properly glutathione production can be adversely affected. Tylenol greatly disrupts this process and should be avoided at all costs.

This means that the body is not detoxifying itself properly. Things that the body would normally expel remain lodged in the system. This leads to toxic overload and systemic tissue irritation. This is where cleansing protocols come in along with organic coffee enemas to help dump the liver of toxic overload encouraging the body to activate its self-healing mechanism. Therapy blend by Café’ Mam, is shade grown very lightly roasted organic coffee. This coffee is loaded with palmitic acid. The body uses palmitic acid to create glutathione transferase.  after just one coffee enema the production of glutathione transferase goes up 600 to 700% more than normal.

When the gallbladder has been removed, the human body try’s it’s hardest to compensate for its absence. The bile duct, found on the visceral side of the liver, will increase in size to take over bile storage and often making it difficult to store bile in between meals. The bile duct will often continually “drip” into the small intestine if there is food present or not, causing inflammation in the intestinal tract. When you don’t have enough bile to flow into the gut to promote the breakdown of fats and complete a bowel movement, constipation and even paralysis of the colon can happen. When this happens often inflammation will occur in the stomach, colon and small intestines, eventually turning into chronic inflammation.

The long-term effect of this irritation is that it may contribute to the onset of colon cancer. You must find ways to reduce the internal inflammation, it’s best to use herbal remedies like lions mane extract, shiitake extract, ginger, turmeric, Veganzyme (digestive enzymes), apple cider vinegar, oxy-powder, colon/liver/gallbladder cleanses and coffee enemas. The BEMER Mat, cryo-therapy, oral and rectal ozone therapy can all be of great help in reducing inflammation and healing damaged tissue. Some patients experience diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, vomiting and other gastrointestinal disorders like gastritis and stomach paralysis, whereas others exhibit no post-surgery symptoms whatsoever.

These are 8 tell-tale signs that your liver needs a deep cleanse:

  • Excessive belly fat and bloating
  • Acid reflux/heartburn
  • Pain or discomfort along the area of the liver
  • Bad skin and profuse sweating
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Jaundice
  • Brain Fog
  • PMS

The liver is the second largest organ in the human body. In fact, it is so big that it contains 10% of our body’s blood supply at any given time and is responsible for filtering the toxins out of our blood. The liver and the bile (produced in the liver) play an important role in the breakdown and processing of cholesterol, fats, sugar, carbohydrates and proteins.

It’s considered the single most important organ in the human body because it is responsible for more than a few hundred different bodily functions including digestion and detoxification, two processes crucial for optimal health. The kidneys, skin, and the GI tract also serves as built-in filters and detoxifiers.

Every neuropath dating all the way back to Chinese medicine has been taught with good reason that, “When in doubt treat the liver”.  Despite its resiliency and its ability to regrow and regenerate, most human suffering is related in some degree to improper liver function, the liver needs as much help and care as it can get. We change the oil filter in our car on a regular basis because we know if we don’t our motor won’t function properly, the liver is the oil filter for your body.

“The liver produces an enzyme called glutathione transferase, glutathione transferase is the number one detoxification enzyme in the human body. The body uses palmitic acid to create glutathione transferase. Properly roasted organic coffee is loaded with palmitic acid. It has been proven that when you do one coffee enema the production of glutathione transferase goes up 600 to 700% more than normal. There is not a better way to detoxify the human body are patients are getting 4 to 5 coffee enemas”    ~Dr. Patrick Vickers

Symptoms to pay attention to:

Visceral Fat– Is a fat that is stored in between organs and is directly connected to fatty liver disease (NAFLD). If you notice your belly is the only place you are gaining weight or areas of your stomach are hard and distended, get to a doctor and/or start a full body cleanse with multiple liver/gallbladder cleanses and daily coffee enemas.

Heartburn – Acid reflux progressing into gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) can be more than just a digestive concern. The burning feeling you may be feeling before or after meals can actually be bile reflux or duodenogastroesphageal reflux (DGER). Bile mixed with acid is more toxic in combination than either of them alone.

Brain fog –  The liver affects the gut and the brain, toxic bile may cause forgetfulness, lack of mental clarity, and inability to concentrate. Fatigue and brain fog fall under symptoms for multiple dysfunctions in the body but they should not be a part of your everyday life they are both a direct sign of the accumulation of excessive toxins in the body. PMS – Hormones are processed in the liver. Signs of PMS such as irritability, bloating, water retention, and difficult periods with excessive bleeding as well, are all indications that the liver needs help. This is true in Chinese medicine especially, where the liver is the treatment choice for hormonal imbalances.

Pain  – Pain on the right side of the stomach just under the top of the rib cage is an indication that you liver is in distress.

Environmental & household pollutants along with many popular prescription drugs have a profoundly negative impact on our livers, (read Chemical Shitstorm Blog) including weight-loss and cholesterol-lowering drugs. Hormonal problems will eventually occur with a poorly functioning liver because that is where hormones are assembled and then broken down for excretion. So be aware that any kind of hormonal supplementation including hormone replacement therapy, progesterone cream, the pill and IUD with hormones, will reduce bile production and flow through the liver, thus compromising liver health. Always look for a natural solution to health problems before resorting to prescription drugs. Keep in mind that prescription drug use is the fourth leading cause of death in the United States. And every drug we take must filter through our organs making them work harder than normal.

You can take all the supplements in the world to treat your symptoms but if you don’t get down to the root cause of your symptoms and if you don’t remove the hard plaque that forms on the walls of your intestines your body will not be in a position to absorb nutrients nor will it be able to activate the natural healing mechanism you were born with. So before we get into supplementation and natural treatments for ailments let’s first discuss how to address the root cause of your health issues and how to treat them. Doing so can eliminate many symptoms and slowly get your body back to a state of healing.

Manage Stress

The number one thing to consider when not feeling well and trying to determine the root cause is to avoid and manage stress. Stress is no good for the liver and the body as a whole. Think back to when your symptoms started, was stress a leading factor in your life then? It’s very well what could have started the snowball effect of your declining health. Stress damages the mitochondria, affecting our cells’ energy, increases inflammation and weakens the immune system. So, this should be the number one thing you cleanse from your life if you are naturally stressed all the time if you have high anxiety or panic attacks often. Start with three minutes a day of silent meditation. I have a really hard time calming my mind, the closest I get is before and after a 90 minute hot yoga class I lay in savasana and take 9 deep breathes, breathing all the way in and taking my time breathing out, I can silence my mind when I am swimming a mile or two in a lap pool and I have recently started a silent meditation with a timer set for just 3 minutes each morning as soon when I get out of bed. I suggest everyone tries this, I got the idea from Kelly Brogan M.D Author of A Mind of Your Own. I suggest every woman of any age read this book on Woman’s Health.

CLEANSING

I only use cleanses from Global Healing Center (link in blog menu) or Dr. Shultze (Read The Power of Herbs Blog). Herbal colon cleanses are ok to do once in a while, they are not meant for daily or weekly colon health. Global Healing Center’s colon cleanse is the most powerful I have ever used, it can be used as a daily laxative, as a deep 6day cleanse and 2 or 3 days a week after cleansing as maintenance for the colon to keep the hard plaque from forming on the wall of the colon. Dr. Shultze’s cleanses are amazing, they are all fresh herbs, teas and drinks you have to make yourself with a strict protocol for each, they work and I love them but I find Global Healing Cleanses are more continent with simple instructions and protocols for someone new to cleanses.

Coffee Enemas

This is a great inexpensive way to cleanse. It assists the liver in detoxification and a side effect of this cleanse is that it also empties out the lower intestines of impacted feces and may be used in conjunction with oxy-powder to retrain the colon. However, it will NOT assist the body in getting rid of liver, gallbladder or kidney stones, this must be done with more specific cleanses.

Organic Coffee Enemas (Café Mam coffee only, Therapy Blend)

Liquid diet

Freshly juiced fruits and vegetables and a pureed food diet can be a great way to give your digestive system a break and to mildly cleanse when on a budget. I always combine my coffee enemas when doing a juice or liquid diet cleanse because juicing will help remove toxins from the body and it will need a way to exit the body fast if your organs are not in the optimal condition they will need help getting rid of the waste.

Juicing causes a fast detox and is low in fiber. Best to juice room temp fruit and vegetables and it’s always best to consume juice immediately and not store in the refrigerator. If you do always use glass jars with lids and only store for three days max in order to keep enzymes active.

Proper order by which to cleanse the internal organs.

Opening each elimination pathway allowing it easier for the organ above eventually getting the body in a state of healing making the Chemical and Toxic Metal Cleanse much easier on the system as a whole. I buy the 9-step body cleanse kit and do the cleanses in the proper order but at my own pace, sometimes one after another with little rest in between and sometimes I must wait weeks in between cleanse due to life being busy. But I find it more affordable and convenient to buy the whole kit, that way I’m committed no matter how long it takes me to finish it.

Colon Cleanse, I do a full 6-day cleanse once a year and use oxy-pills 2 or 3x a week to keep my digestive system moving while giving a fresh dose of oxygen to keep inflammation at bay.

Liver/Gallbladder Cleanse 3x or more times. I keep doing them until I no longer have stones still coming out of me, I take a few days or a week off in between to allow my body to heal and then start another one. This cleanse can be done even if you are missing your gallbladder.

Below are pictures of gallstones sent to me from friends and family after doing the liver/gallbladder cleanse from Global Healing.

2018-07-19_08.12.49

Kidney Cleanse 2x: Give your kidneys a boost with Renaltrex and facilitate toxin removal with Oxy-Powder and Latero-Flora.

Harmful Organism Cleanse:  A harmful organism is anything that lives off of its host (meaning you), yeast (candida), protozoa(, parasites (roundworm, pinworm, trichina spiralis, tapeworm, and fluke). The parasite uses the host’s resources to fuel its life cycle. It uses the host’s resources to maintain itself and they consume your B12 before your body has a chance to absorb it.

Chemical and Toxic Metal Cleanse: Exposure to toxic chemicals and metals is a daily occurrence and, once in the body, chemicals and toxic metals multiply the production of harmful free radicals that poison the body, impair cell and organ function, and lead to serious health concerns.

Liver/Gallbladder Cleanse: I always like to end my full body detox with one last liver/gallbladder cleanse and a series of coffee enemas to get as much waste out of me as possible. All the harmful organisms, chemicals and heavy metals have to exit through our liver, gallbladder and colon

The Thyroid Health Kit – USDA ORGANIC (imperative for woman’s health/healthy thyroid function)

The vitamins and minerals in this kit are all essential to life. The thyroid performs many important functions and when it’s out of balance, fatigue, unexplained weight gain, sensitivity to cold, dry skin, hair loss, irritability, irregular and painful menstrual cycles are sure to follow. Proper and complete nutrition can help promote a healthy thyroid and keep it in balance.  The thyroid needs iodine and selenium to produce T3 and T4 hormones, which are crucial for metabolic processes, these hormones synthesize in the kidneys and liver.

DETOXADINE (Nascent Detoxified Iodine) Deep earthed iodine comes from 7,000 feet below the earths surface where the earth is still pure. Every single cell in the human body has an iodine receptor, making this an essential mineral for optimal health. Nascent Iodine pushes fluoride out of both your pineal gland and your thyroid gland. When this happens, you will fell your mood elevated and your depression fade away, this helps clear up brain fog and mood swings. Iodine is imperative for normal thyroid function

Selenium: Derived from organic mustard seed, known to be one of the most powerful seeds on earth.  Iodine and selenium work together to convert T3 and T4 thyroid hormones. Selenium acts as an antioxidant in the body functioning as an amino, playing a key role in reproductive health in both men and woman.

VEGANSAFE B-12: 80/20 Combination of Adenosycobalmin and Methycobalamin (the most superior B-12 on the market today). B12 promotes normal wake/sleep patterns, high energy levels, adrenal function and energy production, homocysteine and cardiovascular stressors. Promotes nervous system health and the health of the myelin sheath surrounding nerves. Read Blogs for more Info

 Digestive Enzymes

Enzymes are proteins that act as the catalysts for chemical reactions. Every cell in the body uses enzymes and nearly every process in the human body involves chemical reactions whether it’s for breaking down food, building muscles, maintenance or healing from injury. Enzymes are available in food, and the human body produces many enzymes on its own.

Getting the right number of enzymes in your body can help support digestion, reduce inflammation, and boost your immune system. Raw food is a good source of enzymes and following a healthy organic diet that’s rich in fruits and vegetables while avoiding processed foods is a great way to provide your body with a wide variety of enzymes.

Many people missing a gallbladder can no longer break down the fiber in raw vegetables and should try and get at least one or two glasses of cold-pressed vegetable juice every day. Cold-pressed juice should be consumed warm to keep the essential nutrients and enzymes intact. Organic raw foods naturally provide digestive and systemic enzymes which activate in the acidic environment of the stomach, while cooked foods tend to lose much of these healthy enzymes.

Digestive enzymes aid the digestive process. Enzymes help the body break down fiber (cellulase), protein (protease), carbohydrates (amylase), and fats (lipase). Digestive enzymes do all their work in the gastrointestinal tract and help combat common issues such as indigestion, bloating, abdominal discomfort, and gas. If you have any of these symptoms you may want to consider supplementing with a quality digestive enzyme like VEGANZYME.

Papain and bromelain occur naturally in papaya and pineapple and are two well-known digestive aids.

Aloe

Known as one of the most impressive herbs known throughout human history, Aloe Vera is a succulent plant species of the genus Aloe. Aloe Vera was discovered 6000 years ago, originating from the Arabian Peninsula and has been used in traditional medicine ever since. Currently growing wild in tropical climates around the world it’s cultivated for agricultural and medicinal uses.

It is used to preserve food and in found in cosmetic and after sun care products designed to help rejuvenate the skin, but most Aloe formulations are loaded with toxic chemical preservatives and other harmful ingredients. It’s best to use fresh aloe that you grow at home for both oral and topical use. When purchasing supplements always read your ingredients, research and know your source.

You can reap amazing health benefits from both internal and external use of Aloe Vera. Both the translucent inner pulp is used externally for skin and wound care. As an herbal medicine, Aloe Vera juice is commonly used internally for digestive discomfort and as a detox aid. All gelatinous seeds/plants can be used as detox agents, toxins adhere to the gel and are pulled out of the body through the colon: soaked flax seeds, soaked chia seeds & aloe.

Heartburn relief

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a digestive disorder that often results in heartburn. A 2010 review suggested that consuming 1 to 3 ounces of aloe gel at mealtime could reduce the severity of GERD. It may also ease other digestion-related problems. The plant’s low toxicity makes it a safe and gentle remedy for heartburn with little to no side effects.

Supports Digestion

Quality freeze-dried Aloe supplements help soothe and cleanse the digestive tract. When digestion is smooth and functioning properly, your body can better absorb nutrients to enhance your overall wellness. The freeze-drying process preserves the delicate polysaccharide molecules that give Aloe some of its most amazing and valued properties.

Organic Cold-Pressed Castor Oil

Castor oil also known as Ricinus Communis, is created by cold-pressing the seeds of this plant until the castor oil is released. Castor oil is made up of phytochemicals including undecylenic acid and rincinoleic acid. Ricinoleic acid is a fatty acid that makes up about 90% of the oil. When Ricinoleic acid is released into the intestines it binds to one receptor that lines the intestinal tract and the smooth-muscle cells of the uterus.

Castor oil assists in getting toxins being processed by the body out of the body. When consumed castor oil causes a mass amount of bile production and it releases old bile that is being stored in the liver and gallbladder. When the liver breaks down cholesterol into bile acids, toxins (from environment and medications) and heavy metals attach to the bile acids and are pulled out of the body through the kidneys and the intestines.

Cayce is considered the most talented 20th century psychic as well as the “Father of Holistic Medicine” by the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).

Out of the 9,000 health-related readings, Cayce suggested using castor oil 545 times as the treatment for a variety of ailments.

Cayce listed over 30 physiologic functions of castor oil, including increasing eliminations, lymphatic circulation, relaxation, Stimulating the liver, gallbladder, lacteal duct circulation, and cecum, Dissolving and removing adhesions, lesions, and gallstones, Relieving pain, Reducing flatulence, inflammation, nausea, swelling, Improving intestinal assimilation. Coordinating liver-kidney function
Using Organic Castor Oil

Organic cold-pressed castor oil in the treatment of constipation can be used in one of three ways:

A castor oil pack – created by soaking a cloth in castor oil and applying topically to the affected area

A castor oil pack, when placed on the skin, is thought to enhance circulation and promote healing to the affected area and therefore when placed on the stomach, can improve digestion and may relieve constipation symptoms.

Oral Supplement– 15ml a day, measured using a special measuring device/cup to ensure effective dosage is administered. It can also be taken with juice if preferred, to allow for easier consumption.

Castor oil, when taken orally, is broken down in your small intestine into something called ricinoleic acid that stimulates the movement of the intestines, also known as peristalsis, and may help to move the stool along, preventing build-up or constipation.

  • Castor has been used for constipation for 100’s of years.
  • Causes a mass amount of bile, helps dump toxins
  • This may help you digest fats and other foods if taken before eating.

Betaine HCL

Betaine is an amino acid that acts as a powerful digestive aid, it has been shown to have potential benefits for improving body composition, fighting heart disease, and helping promote fat loss and muscle gain because of its abilities to promote protein synthesis in the body.

Betaine is created by choline in combination with the amino acid glycine. It is a derivative of the nutrient choline; choline is a “precursor” to betaine and must be present for betaine to be synthesized in the body. Just like some B vitamins, including B-9 (folate) and vitamin B-12, betaine is a “methyl donor.” Meaning it aids in liver function, detoxification and cellular functioning within the body. It’s most crucial role is to help the body process fats. This is crucial when you are missing your gallbladder, digesting fats can become an issue.

Betaine HCl helps the stomach break down fat and protein in the food. It also assists the body’s detoxification processes. It is an essential component for metabolizing and absorbing food and helps assimilate proteins, vitamin B-12, calcium, and iron.”  ~Dr. Group

The amino acid betaine is absorbed in the intestines into what are known as enterocytes. Enterocytes circulate through the liver, where the betaine is extracted and metabolized. From there, betaine hydrochloride is converted into betaine inside the alkaline environment of the small intestine, helping to create a favorable environment for digestion. Many people facing poor digestion have found that taking plant-derived betaine HCl before a meal supports digestion. I have yet to find an organic plant-derived Betaine HCL supplement (over 90% of sugar beets in the U.S. are genetically modified and heavily sprayed with pesticides. I prefer to get my Betaine HCL from therapeutic doses of chlorophyll and spirulina, these two superfoods are loaded with amino acids.

“Betaine hydrochloride is an organic compound and vitamin-like substance found in many different foods such as sugar beets, grains, and spinach. It is recommended by naturopaths and medical doctors as a supplemental source of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Studies[1] show that this compound can profoundly benefit individuals suffering from digestive upsets or a deficiency of stomach acid production.

Normally, a healthy stomach can produce enough gastric acid to kill harmful organisms. But, when people experience deficiencies in producing stomach acid, they are more likely to have bacterial and intestinal infections and the increased presence of harmful organisms.[2] Betaine HCl helps the stomach break down fat and protein in the food. It also assists the body’s detoxification processes. It is an essential component for metabolizing and absorbing food and helps assimilate proteins, vitamin B-12, calcium, and iron.”  ~Dr. Group

Betaine Hydrochloride is an amino acid best sourced from food because supplements are made from sugar beets (almost all sugar beets in the U.S. are GMO and almost all Betaine Supplements that I found had a list of chemical fillers, flow agents and preservatives in “Other Ingredients”

Betaine HCL uses:

Used to treat stomach ulcers

A supplemental source of hydrochloric acid in the stomach.

Benefits people that do not produce enough stomach acid. when people experience deficiencies in producing stomach acid, they are more likely to have bacterial and intestinal infections and the increased presence of harmful organisms.

Food High In Betaine:

Quinoa — About 1 cup cooked or 1/4 cup uncooked: 178 mg

Beets — 1 cup raw: 175 mg

Spinach — 1 cup cooked: 160 mg

Amaranth Grain — About 1 cup cooked or 1/2 cup uncooked : 130 mg

Organic Chlorophyll derived from Alfalfa and Spirulina are both high in amino acids/Betaine HCL

Spirulina & Chlorella

Spirulina and Chlorella are complete foods, meaning that you can survive on them alone. They contain all your vital nutrients including protein and all your essential amino acids. If you are having issues with digesting food after your gallbladder surgery these are better than any packaged liquid meal replacement you can buy, many doctors and hospitals still prescribe Boost or Ensure to patients who need a liquid diet. These two products are nothing but sugar, chemicals, preservatives and synthetic vitamins and minerals.

In large quantities, chlorella can be a good source of fiber. However, one serving is about 1 gram of fiber. So if you are having issues digesting fiber, start with 1 or two servings at a time spread throughout the day so you can see how your system does with it.
Spirulina and Clean Chlorella and Clean Chlorella SL  from The Health Ranger Store are rigorously tested for radiation, heavy metals and other contaminants. These are both forms of algae and you must trust your source.

Spirulina/Chlorella (best to buy in Bulk 5 or 10 lb bag, I start slow and work my way up to a therapeutic dose of 2 heaping tablespoons (or 20 cold pressed pills) taken 3x a day on an empty stomach) Best taken with a small amount of fat (freshly ground flax seeds, coconut meat, coconut oil, coconut butter, cocoa butter)

Both 60% Protein

Only two foods in the world that you can survive exclusively on, they provide an array of essential nutrients,

They both contain unique antioxidants, the antioxidants found in Chlorella are not found in spirulina and vice versa.

Chlorella contains: Chlorophyll, protein, copper, potassium, iron, magnesium, zinc, B2 (Riboflavin), B3 (Niacin), B5 (Pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B7 (biotin), B9 (folate), B12, Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Omega 3’s, and small amounts of almost every other nutrient we need.

Chlorella is a vegan source of B12

Contains ALA-Aplha linolenic Acid (essential fatty acid for brain and heart health

Chlorella contains fiber that is great for digestion and binds to heavy metals and other harmful compounds and pulls them out of the body

In animal studies, algae, including chlorella, has been found to weaken the heavy metal toxicity of the liver, brain and kidneys.

Spirulina contains:  Protein, Chlorophyll, B1 (thiamine), B2 (Riboflavin), B3 (Niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B7 (Biotin)), B9 (folate), Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese and small amounts of almost every other nutrient we need.

Spirulina is a super high energy food

Spirulina contains Phycocyanin a high-powered antioxidant and immune system builder not found in any other food.

Spirulina contains all 22 essential and non-essential amino acids, helping to regrow and heal damaged inflamed tissue and muscle.

Spirulina contains GLA-Gamma Linolenic Acid an essential fatty acid not found in many foods (found in breast milk), it’s good for an array of inflammation, arthritis, joint issues.

Oral and Rectal Ozone/Oxygen Therapy

This therapy adds oxygen to your entire digestive system reducing inflammation.

Many diseases are unable to survive in a high oxygen environment.

If this interests you I encourage you to do some research on the topic. They use this therapy at The Baha Gerson Treatment Center

Medications rob you of essential nutrients

Woman Taking Birth Control can become deficient certain Vitamins and Minerals and damage to the thyroid is unavoidable. The synthetic hormones from the pill or IUD confuse the body and disrupt its natural flow. Your body is supposed to produce progesterone on its own.

Vitamin and Minerals deficiencies that may occur: Selenium, Vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine), B-2 (Riboflavin). B12 (cobalamin), B-9 (Folate/Folic Acid), Vitamin C, Magnesium, Zinc

Acid Reflux medications/Proton Pump Inhibitors and H2 blockers called Histamine-2 receptor antagonists make it hard to uptake Vitamin B-12 and cause vitamin and minerals deficiency. If you stop using these medications B12 will not automatically re-appear in your body, you should do a colon cleanse and start taking the thyroid health kit to fix the damage already done and get your levels back to Optimal Health Levels.

B-12 deficiency can cause tiredness, weakness, constipation and loss of appetite. (Read Blog for more Info

Antibiotics

They disrupt the integrity of the intestinal microbiome destroying healthy gut bacteria. Restoration of gut flora is both art and science and more and more doctors are prescribing probiotics for patients that are on antibiotics. This is where cleansing of the organs can help, Global Healing cleanses always require you to replenish with natural pre and probiotics foods along with probiotics pills and natural probiotics like Apple Cider Vinegar

Keep in mind that the doctor’s office is not the only place antibiotics are being dispersed from; they’re also fed liberally to conventional livestock (cows, chickens, pigs), farmed fish and many people flush their old medications down the toilet and they get recycled into our drinking water, leaving biologically active traces in the foods that humans consume. This is why it is important to know exactly where the food you eat comes from. I only buy my meat and eggs from small local grass fed farms and I use a water purifier (diffrent than filtered water) that takes out all contaminants. You can get clean meat, fish and produce delivered right to your front door.

All Medication must filter through your kidneys, liver, gallbladder and colon to exit your body.

Prolong use of medication can have serious side effects on your immune system, gut bacteria, organs and overall health often causing symptoms similar to the disease or condition itself.

According to new data published today in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 30 percent of antibiotics prescribed in the United States last year were unnecessary.
